A simple hygiene appointment is for a patient who regularly attends the hygienist. This helps maintain the gums to an optimum level within the mouth.
Patients who have not had hygiene appointments previously may need multiple or prolonged treatments (Deep clean).

Deep Clean
Patients with gum disease will require a deep clean process to remove tartar from the tooth surfaces under the gums.
The surgical periodontal treatments are also available to prevent further gum deterioration.

Laser Gum Treatment
This system eliminates 99% of the bacteria involved in gum disease and will enable the mouth to recover and heal.
As no antibiotics are used, resistance is reduced. This is a relatively new, painless system which uses laser.
