Root canal treatment
When things go wrong inside the soft core of your tooth, root canal work may be necessary. The centre of your tooth is made up of soft tissue, blood vessels and nerves and when this becomes infected, it can be very painful.
Root canal pain can be caused by an abscess, cracked tooth or damage to a cavity.
We fix your tooth pain by making an opening through the crown of the tooth into the pulp chamber. The infected pulp is removed, the root canal is cleaned to remove bacteria, and a temporary filling is applied. A crown will then usually be placed over the tooth, restoring your function and smile.
