A dental implant is a small titanium post that is surgically placed into the jawbone to act as a permanent root for a replacement tooth. We use our CBCT 3D scanner to assess your bone volume and anatomy precisely. A full treatment plan with transparent pricing is agreed before anything begins.
The titanium implant is placed under local anaesthetic. If needed, a bone graft is performed first. A temporary crown may be fitted while the implant integrates into the bone over 3–6 months.
Once the implant has fully integrated, a precision-crafted ceramic crown is permanently attached. The result is indistinguishable from your natural teeth.

Wisdom teeth are the last molars to emerge, usually between the ages of 17 and 25. Because the jaw is often too small to accommodate them, they can become impacted — stuck in the bone or gum — causing pain, infection, pressure on neighbouring teeth and other serious complications.
At Aspen Dental Care, wisdom tooth extractions are handled entirely in-house. We use our 3D CBCT scanner to map the precise position of the tooth and surrounding nerves before treatment, ensuring every extraction is planned meticulously and carried out with maximum precision and minimal discomfort.
A 3D CBCT scan maps the exact tooth position and its proximity to the inferior alveolar nerve — giving us a precise, fully-costed surgical plan before anything begins.
Local anaesthetic ensures you feel no pain. We take as long as needed until you're fully comfortable. The tooth is carefully loosened and removed; the gum sutured if required for clean, fast healing. We try and remove the wisdom tooth with minimum amount of surgery. Our goal is always to do minimum tissue damage so that the recovery is smooth.
Full written aftercare instructions are provided on the day. We follow up to confirm healing is progressing well and remain available to answer any questions.

What you eat and drink has a direct effect on the health of your teeth and gums. Frequent sugar and acid exposure — even from "healthy" foods like fruit juice and smoothies — is the primary driver of tooth decay and enamel erosion.

Call 01892 516030Severe or sudden tooth pain often signals an abscess, deep decay or cracked tooth that needs prompt assessment and treatment to prevent the situation worsening.
A dislodged crown exposes the underlying tooth to sensitivity and further damage. Call us the same morning and we will prioritise re-cementing or replacing it quickly.
Facial swelling, throbbing pain and a bad taste can indicate a serious abscess. This requires immediate attention — call us or go to A&E if swelling is severe or spreading.
If a permanent tooth is knocked out, keep it moist (in milk or the patient's saliva) and call immediately — re-implantation is sometimes possible if acted upon within the hour.
An open cavity can be extremely sensitive and quickly develops further decay. Call early and we will replace the filling the same day wherever possible.
Pericoronitis (infection around an erupting wisdom tooth) causes intense localised pain and swelling. We can irrigate the area, prescribe antibiotics if needed and plan extraction.
A trip, fall or collision can loosen, crack or displace teeth, cut the gums or fracture the jaw. Even if a tooth looks intact, internal damage may not be immediately visible. Call us promptly so we can assess and act before problems develop.
We do our very best to offer same-day appointments for urgent situations, but on particularly busy days all slots may already be filled. We'd always encourage you to call as early in the day as possible — if we genuinely can't fit you in the same day, we'll do everything we can to see you within 24 hours and will advise you on the safest course of action in the meantime.
Same-day appointments are held subject to seat availability on the day. The best way to secure one is to call as early as possible, ideally before 9:00 am when we open. If we cannot accommodate you the same day, we will always do our best to see you within 24 hours. For life-threatening swelling or significant trauma, please attend A&E or call 999 immediately.
